Weekly Calendar of Areas to Disinfect

Week 4:

Kitchen: Lunch Boxes

This weeks’ selection of areas to disinfect is a pretty boring one of lunch boxes/bags, but it’s just a task as are all the others, but it’s also the last item in the kitchen category, the next area to tackle will be restrooms which will be coming up in the next few weeks items. For the lunch boxes and bags I normally wash them with soap and hot water and then a wipe with disinfecting wipes. For that matter I’m adding in reusable water bottles to my disinfecting list of items and you can feel free to disinfect these items as well or not depending on what you prefer.

Week 3:

Kitchen: General Kitchen Surfaces

This week will consist of a simple basic list of rather easy areas around the kitchen to disinfect and that would likely be sufficiently disinfected by just using antibacterial wipes:

  1. Kitchen counters
  2. Stove knobs
  3. Microwave handles
  4. Refrigerator handles

Week 2:

Kitchen: Coffee Maker

This week is for the coffee maker. I’m no expert on how to clean coffee makers so I’ll give you a link to an article on how to clean a coffee maker instead: How to Clean a Coffee Maker for Faster, Better Coffee. As for myself I may follow the instructions given in this article or I may just buy a new coffee maker because ours is quite old and I would feel happier with a fresh, clean new coffee maker, I’ve yet to decide.
